It appeared about half as wide as a full moon appears from where we were. It burned white at the bottom green on the top.

Right before the flash the ground was lit light someone was using a welder next to me. The flash lit up the entire sky. Similar to watching the shuttle launch from cape Canaveral at night. The entire sky was orange for a moment.
