Observer
NameEmily W
Experience Level1/5
RemarksWhile traveling down the roadway we noticed in the sky to our right a bright white sphere (which I initially thought was a shooting star until it became significantly brighter) followed by an orange trail and a brief and small flash of green behind the white sphere at the beginning of the orange trail. Lost sight behind the tree line to my left. No explosion or bright flash noticed after loosing sight. I make it a point to observe meteor showers and other astrological events but have never witnessed something so bright and noticeable traveling through the night sky.
