RemarksNOTE: I was on a Northbound flight at approx. 8-10,000 feet. Appeared due east, fairly bright and slightly higher than eye level, moving essentially downward, slight left to right. Slowly faded over the course of a second or so, then fragmented. Very similar to the end trail of a firework as it flares out.
