Remarks | My best guess for where it landed was someplace between Piney Peak, Eagles Nest and Sheep Mountain, likely closer to Eagles nest but maybe more to the west. I was driving south on CO hwy 9 next to Green Mountain Reservoir looking west when I saw it. It went down behind a ridge to the west so I did not see it land but saw a bright flash. I could not hear sound since I was driving in my car with windows up and music on. When I looked at my phone the time was 7:37pm, i'd guess I saw the event at 7:36pm. |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | It seemed to have landed behind a ridge to my west but there was a yellow/orange flash about the time it would have intersected the ground behind the ridge. The object itself seemed yellow/orangish at the front as it moved leaving a white trail behind it. |
