Remarks | This *could* have been a lone firework someone set off. We weren't sure, and it disappeared behind trees so we didn't see how it finished manifesting. But we thought we'd file a report in case others reported something similar in our area. If no one else reports this, then I would assume it was a roman candle type firework that we somehow caught only as it was descending in a straight line (which isn't how fireworks work, as far as I know. And we heard no sound at all afterwards -- no whistle, no pop that we usually associate with a nearby firework.) |
