I work nights & have seen many shooting stars but nothing this big,bright & low.Amazing sighting

Bright flash like lightning completely lit up the sky I looked up & saw bright white blue ligh it was massive & really close,I've seen shooting stars & always far away this looked as if it was half the size of full moon & so close 100ft.I could see main ball & trailor didn't look to taper & then burnt out.
