This report has been linked to the following event: Event 2857-2023
Observer
NameCait C
Experience Level2/5
RemarksI was sitting on a bench outside speaking with my relative and then saw the large ball-shaped light (seemed awfully close) come out of nowhere from over the edge of a building’s roof (still too high and distant in the sky to have been something thrown by a human), a bright ball that barely seemed to last a second and then disintegrated into thin air. It looked like it was partially coming toward me rather than completely across the sky and its movement across the sky was incredibly short-lived, no long tail that you would usually associate with meteors or “falling stars”, just there and then gone.
