Terminal flash
ObservationYes
RemarksBright flash first noticed it, thought it was nothing for about half a second, didn't say anything, then realized it was very bright and large, after it broke apart, it took a few seconds for the sky to dim. Dozens, maybe hundreds of people in Buena Vista saw it since it was right after the Christmas parade.
Fragmentation
ObservationYes
RemarksThe main item moved across he sky, at least three fragments broke off, some headed upward, some downward, there may have been more. It seemed like the entire thing dissolved into tiny fragments.
