Remarks | Stunning meteor, substantially larger than Venus, arced across window as I watched PBS Newshour on TV on wall right next to window. Dropped out of sight and I ran outside in hopes of seeing more. No such luck. Thought it might have been searchlight on helicopter or similar oddity, but no sound or view of anything. All quiet, all dark, except for the normal distant drone of vehicles on the Ohio Turnpike. The local Hudson Ohio Roundtable on the internet was checked and 7 other people reported sighting same at about same time. |
