Remarks | I was driving northbound on I 75 between Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio. My friend in the passenger seat saw it as well and our viewing experiences were the same.....bright thin white streak that fell straight down into our visual field out the front windshield. It exploded with ashy fragmentation and grew large and bright green and continued to fall, staying visible all the way to the tree line, in a line that went from due north slightly toward the east. Spectacular!! I hope no one was injured by the falling debris as it seemed like it would hit the ground intact into a fairly well populated area. |

Remarks | It started very long, thin, and bright, falling straight out of the sky looking due north, then it exploded into a giant bright green fireball, shedding ashes as it blew up. It stayed huge even once it disappeared below the tree line. |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | As above but oddly, it grew larger AFTER the flash |
