RemarksIt looked like something out of a movie, I couldn't believe my eyes... After a lot of searching online for answers to explain what I had seen, I feel confident saying I believe what I saw was a quadrantid meteor fireball in spiral that reminded me a little of a spinning top if the spinning top was on fire, spinning in a spiral while falling a secondary spiral with a train following behind. I kept waiting for the sound or an explosion but there was nothing. I have looked online hoping to find another report that could provide more explanation or supporting witnesses. This was the most profound and breathtaking event I have ever witnessed, it left me speechless and even now I am emotionally moved just thinking about it. It was a life-changing experience, I feel so grateful that I had the chance to be in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time to see something from another world before my very eyes. I had been a lover of stars since a young child, so innately drawn to them. I feel like the stars gave me a gift that is more precious than anything this world could have ever bestowed upon me. I stood in the same place in shock for a bit trying to grasp what I just saw, while at the same time giving thanks like never before. It was during that time that I saw what must have been a 2nd meteor burning up in the atmosphere but looked to me like a far-off shooting star. I witnessed this event from my backyard while outside with my furbaby girl.
