Remarks | I was driving my van home, and witnessed the event through my windshield, in a residential neighborhood with ample street lighting. I do not know if I witnessed the beginning of the event or not, at its highest point, due to being in a car. It was dark out and not a super clear night (though it wasn't cloudy; I could see satellites and some bright stars through the light pollution), so I couldn't tell if it left a smoke trail. It was just a little too bright to be a descending drone or floating lantern, and too fast to be an airplane. But it wasn't streaking from what I could see. |
