| Remarks | This was a one of a kind experience. Never have I seen a green with a blueish halo from a meteor. Their normally yellow or white. This was larger but not to big that it would light up the whole sky. It only lite up the northern direction around its self. Vs the one I saw months ago low to the horizon that lasted for a longer time was large yellow and extremely bright. This one was very bright at its largest center and was glowing green which can only assume that it wasnt burning up as it entered the atmosphere and had to have been extremely hot and big ? It was not to slow but not extremely fast either. Lasting a solid 3 seconds. Due almost exactly due north ending slightly northwest. I have a dual Bachelor's degree in Geography and GIS and currently am a Surveyor. I also studied at Cornell University at their Cosmology and Astronomy department. I have always been fascinated and studied srars, planets, galaxies, meteors, comets and just about anything in the sky and on the earth. I hope ro read about the meteor in the news. |

| Remarks | The trail started out skinnier with a yellow to white color. Then the trail got larger as it decended towards the horizon. At its largest before it disappeared the circumference got larger as it burst it resembled a large glowing neon green water balloon. As it burst the chem trail/path of the metero was present for a few seconds. It was very dark out. Almost midnight. 11:54pm. |

| Remarks | The trail started out skinnier with a yellow to white color. Then the trail got larger as it decended towards the horizon. At its largest before it disappeared the circumference got larger as it burst it resembled a large glowing neon green water balloon. The center was bright green with a bright blue glowing halo. We could see the chem trail it made when the center burst. It was seen starting nearly exact due north above my house ending slightly northwest. In almost compete darkness. It was higher than the horizon and lower than straight up. Approximately 30° above horizon. Lasted approximately 3 seconds. This was the first green meteor I have seen, there was one a few months ago due east very low to the horizon that lite up the sky and was all yellow and huge and lasted for a lnger period of time leaving a big trail. This one was very unique and beautiful. I live in Florida on the west coast NW of Tampa Bay and less than 2 miles to the Gulf Of Mexico. |
