RemarksI have spent several months at sea and have seen many things light up the sky such as shooting stars, a space shuttle launch. and satellites. I have never seen anything like this. It appeared to be closer and slower moving than a shooting star. It had a long tail and had some fragments around it. It was bright yellow to orange.
