I've seen a fair few meteors in the past. Mostly small and very quick but this one was easily the largest with a much wider trail amd also this is the first one I've seen break up a bit. It is also the first one I've seen heading down towards earth.

As it flew down some small fragments came off so the trail was a bit broken up and not all as one like a usual shooting star
