Reports Report 996s (Event 996-2022)

This report has been linked to the following event: Event 996-2022
Observer
NameDavid C
Experience Level4/5
RemarksThis was the largest fireball I have seen in my life. It was white at the center and appeared to have an orange bow wave in front with short orange trails quickly ending. No apparant rotation. From where I viewed this in Asheville, if anything remained to make contact with earth, it was traveling on a line from Mars Hill toward a point east of Charlotte. I hope there are other sightings reported to triangulation this.
