Remarks | I was traveling N-NE on HW 79 when I clearly saw it cross my windshield, dropping downward from left to right, starting at about '10:00' on my windshield. I first thought that it was some of the locals setting off fireworks because it very much reminded me of an artillery shell-type of firework, with its visible tail and moving at about the same speed. Then I realized that fireworks don't shoot across the sky at a slight downward angle! That's when I suspected that I had probably witnessed some sort of falling meteor, but MUCH larger and closer than I had ever witnessed in my 64 years! |
