Remarks | I was driving north. I saw something extremely bright about half way up the night sky, and it was probably in between west and northwest. It appeared to be green and it was very very short lived. It was a quick flash and it was gone. At first I thought it could be extraterrestrial related, so I kept driving and kept looking in the general location to see if I could see anything else. After I arrived home, I noticed the clouds were pushed in a circular motion. After doing some research the following day, I believe that I likely saw a bolide. I now wish I would have pulled off the road and paid greater attention to it. I’ve now learned about the trains that can follow a fireball or bolide, so my question, can the train affect the clouds in any way?? |
