This report has been linked to the following event: Event 678-2021
Observer
Name
Brendan M
Experience Level
3/5
Remarks
My time is exactly correct, since I immediately sent a text to catalog the time for reporting. I also believe there was a police vehicle in front of me heading eastbound on the same highway 123 that may have dashcam video of the spectacle. There is also a rock quarry company near that location that may be able to give you footage from security cameras as well.

Remarks
This was the brightest point of the fireball and it was very similar to a flash of lightening. It was bright enough to mistake night as day.
