Remarks | I was on my way home from work (I work night shift) when it occurred and I looked at the clock in my car and it read 0625. It was so remarkable that when I got home I told my husband about it and what time I saw it. |

Observation | Yes |

Remarks | After the VERY bright flash, I observed an orange nose followed by a long wide very vivid green glowing train. Due to driving and needing to look at the road, I did not see color changes other than these original colors described. |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | The flash was so bright it severely startled me while driving. I was facing a lot of cars coming into Charlotte on the freeway with headlights on and the flash was so bright it completely drowned out the oncoming headlights. It was by far the brightest flash from a meteor that I have ever seen. |
