I have never seen a “shooting star” that was this big, this bright or one that made the sky light up like lightning as the ball past. The tail was very large and long as well.

Maybe something similar to a fast car passing you? Not exactly thunder sounding. It first lit the sky line like lightning twice before shooting around like a star. It came out of no where.

Remarks
We were star gazing and this appeared out of no where. First lit up the sky like lightning behind a cloud. And then a second flash followed with it shooting out from behind the cloud across the sky. There was a Large firey tail behind it. But both vanished almost together.
