RemarksThis was the most brilliant, large, & long meteor I have ever seen in my life! Lasted about 5 seconds, maybe a bit more, and looked like it was on fire. I was shocked to see it above the city of Pittsburgh, as it was not an entirely clear night and you would think the lights of the city would drown out any viewing. I didn't even know it was the Perseid Meteor Shower until I googled after seeing it. I was honestly scared when I first saw the flash! Spectacular experience!
