Didn’t see it hit the ground cuz there were houses in my line of sight and I am in a hilly place. Also it made no sound, although I might of been too far from it

Wasn’t sure if it was a comet or maybe a plane that went down. Mainly a White ball in the sky with a white and red tail. Looked like it was on fire.
