RemarksI've watched meteor shower events before, and I've never in all my years, and I'm 42, seen anything like I did that night ever, or since. I just couldn't get over how close, low, bright & big it was. It definitely was NOT satellite link, it wasn't a beam or laser in the sky, it wasn't the ISS, otherwise it would of landed on my roof. My 1sr thought, was wow, a massive shooting star. But the more I've thought about it, and asked people on star gazing sites etc, the more I'm convinced it was something else. Another lady in 1 of my groups said she saw it too, but I'm not sure where she lives. I can always go back to the star gazing group & ask her.

Remarksit reminded me of a firework, it was bright, very bright, so close, so low, and the longest train/trail I've ever seen. I've seen meteor showers before, I've watched them for years, but never have I seen anything like I did that night before, it flew over the roof of the house, our back garden in long, approx 50ft long, and it travelled what seemed like a good 50% of the garden length.. It definitely was NOT a satellite, nor a laser in the sky, nor the ISS. It looked to me like a shooting star, but longer, brighter, bigger, closer & lower. It really was beautiful.
